Dear Readers,
Living with intention means creating time to align with yourself. Taking a few minutes everyday to hear your own thoughts and values. To respect your life before you put your energy in to others. It helps you to understand where you want to direct your energy. To shape your experiences, what you gain out of them and how it aligns with your future.
It is not about chasing productivity as soon as you wake up or to expecting your best self to show up.
It is about listening to your mind, to who you are and letting yourself thrive in that acceptance.

Sipping your matcha in the comfort of silence. Take 30 mins or half an hour or even an hour to sit with your matcha. Look outside the window, the sky, the trees, the weather. In the light of a dim lamp or the gentle rise of the morning sun.
Feel the existence of the world and how nothing is rushed in the mornings. How you have a whole day ahead and all the possibilities to make it count. Let yourself feel the calm energy you create in this space. And gently carry that peace into the rest of your day, into every situation you step into.
Another addition to enhance this routine is to play some soft, positive vibrational frequency music. You will notice, every thought that run across your mind is narrated with a supportive shift.
Taking time to cook your simple breakfast. Taking time to prepare a simple breakfast becomes more than just a task. It becomes a practice of moving with calm intention.
Even in small inconveniences, you learn to stay steady, to regulate your reactions, and to exist peacefully within your own presence. Play soft jazz in the background. Notice the aroma of your food.
Stay present with the process. And allow yourself to feel grateful that you have this time to care for yourself through something so simple, yet so grounding.
Meditation. Just for 3 to 5 minutes is enough if that’s what you can afford. There are so many ways to meditate, but for early morning, I’d recommend, just sit/ lying on your bed and focusing on your breathing with your eyes closed.
Each inhale and exhale. You don’t have to slow down your breathing. Simply focus on the natural flow and align your mind to your body’s expansion and relaxation. If your mind stray away, gently bring it back, that’s normal.
Over time, this creates space in your mind. Your thoughts slow down. You become more aware of yourself, not just as someone reacting to life, but as someone who can choose how to move within it.
Journaling and a podcast afterwards. Aligning your thoughts before you start a day helps you set the goals of what you want to achieve from that day. This is important when living with intention and not just mere urgency.
You react less, you form better responses and you direct your energy in a grounded manner.
A podcast soon afterwards, on a topic that you are currently navigating, will help you build much solid foundations in your beliefs rather than uncertainly rambling while journaling.
You first explore your own thoughts and then you listen to an expert to adjust.
Skincare with high energy music. A small ritual to honor yourself and the woman you are growing into. Smell like her, look like her and build the energy like her with a curated playlist.
Take the last few moments of the morning that you have for yourself, to mindfully step into the calm, elegant version you aspire to carry throughout the day. Feel how good is it to do things that actually make you feel elevated and create that energy in every step you take. Focused, disciplined and calm.
A mindful morning isn’t about doing everything perfectly.
Some days will be slower. Some will be shorter.
Even the simple act of making your bed on a busy day, so you have a tidy room to return to is an act of an intentional morning that honors yourself.
A few of these rituals can change how your entire day feels.
And over time, how your life feels too.
Yours truly, @her.matcha.mind
