“It is not uncommon for people to spend their whole life waiting to start living.”
― Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment
Dear readers,
Welcome to the Matcha and Mornings page, I am glad that you are here.
The idea of “changing your life” can feel so heavy — like yet another thing to do, perfect, and sustain. So, if you’ve made it this far, I see you. Your presence here is already an act of showing up for yourself.
Here, we don’t obsess over being consistent or ask “how can I keep up with this lifestyle all month long”, we care about improving the present moment, where everything begins — not someday, not after a reset, but in the now.
Writing the page from this side of life — I can say: Once you experience this lifestyle, it becomes something your heart remembers — even in your lowest moments.
This space is dedicated to sprinkle seeds of growth and discipline throughout the day while being happy and calm. To embracing both clarity and confusion, movement and stillness. I think of this space the way I think of matcha: not loud, but lasting. A kind of presence that stays with you all day.
To choosing a peaceful rhythm to life rather than a chaotic burst of energy.
Most importantly, I’m here to hold your hand when you lose that clarity — and help you return to yourself, gently.
To introduce myself — I’m simply someone who’s trying to slow down her own life, with a passion for writing and for observing people and patterns deeply.
Someone who’s learned to put herself first, as I trust myself to remain a good person in doing so.
And at the end of the day, my goal is to live each day in alignment with the woman I hope to become.
So, I see this as a journey we take together — a road less travelled, perhaps, but a meaningful one.
Through wins and failures, my aim is to learn to find peace in who we’re becoming.
As I come to the end of this first post, I want to leave you with something to reflect on until next week:
Take a moment to identify who you truly want to be.
Not who you think you can be.
But the person your heart desires to be.
The qualities of someone you admire, even in secret.
Write it down.
Then, gently break those qualities into simple habits you think that person might do.
That’s all.
What’s to come on Matcha and Mornings:
– Summary of book and app recommendations
– Simple daily rituals
– Wellness ideas and nourishing recipes
– Music and reflections to help you slow down
All for anyone trying to live with more clarity, calm, and intention.
Yours truly, her.matcha.mind
